Someone in the Gap
Ezekiel 22–24
“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.”

TODAY’S DEVOTION
God looked for someone willing to stand before Him on behalf of a broken land. The gap was created by widespread injustice, compromised leadership, and spiritual unfaithfulness. What was missing was not another observer who could describe the damage, but an intercessor whose life and prayer would resist it.
The Lord still forms people who will pray where others criticize, remain holy where others compromise, and act faithfully where others withdraw. Standing in the gap is not spiritual heroism; it is availability. One surrendered person can carry a family, church, workplace, or community before God. Do not wait to feel impressive. Let the Holy Ghost make you faithful, and take your place in prayer.
