When His Glory Returns
Ezekiel 43–45
“And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.”
Ezekiel 43:2 KJV
TODAY’S DEVOTION
Ezekiel had watched the glory of God depart from a defiled temple. Now the prophet sees that glory return. Restoration is more than repairing what was damaged; it is the return of God to the center. The measurements, boundaries, worship, and service matter because His presence is holy.
We can become busy repairing schedules, relationships, and habits while leaving God at the edge. Christian renewal begins by welcoming His rule again. Open the Word, turn from what dishonors Him, and make room for the Holy Ghost to search and lead you. The goal is not a better-looking life. It is a life illuminated by the glory of God.

Context for careful reading.
כָּבוֹד · kāḇôḏ · H3519
Kāḇôḏ means glory, honor, or weight. Ezekiel describes God’s manifest glory returning to the temple and filling the house.
Ezekiel 43 follows the temple vision of chapters 40–42. The return of God’s glory reverses the departure portrayed earlier in Ezekiel and grounds the renewed worship described in chapters 44–45.
