The Walk God Requires
Micah 6–7 · Nahum 1
“What doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”
Micah 6:8 KJV
TODAY’S DEVOTION
God’s requirement is neither empty ceremony nor vague sincerity. Justice, mercy, and humility describe a life walking with Him. We cannot earn salvation through good conduct, but grace forms a people whose conduct changes. Let today’s devotion leave the page: act fairly, delight in mercy, and walk low enough to follow God rather than your own importance.

Context for careful reading.
צָנַע · ṣānaʿ · H6800
Ṣānaʿ conveys humility or modesty in one’s walk. It places daily life under God rather than making self the center.
Micah 6–7 presents God’s covenant case, calls for faithful living, and closes in wonder at the God who pardons and delights in mercy.
