Truth That Builds Peace
Zechariah 6–8
“Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates.”
Zechariah 8:16 KJV
TODAY’S DEVOTION
God’s restored community would be marked by truthful speech and judgments that produce peace. Biblical peace is not maintained by avoiding truth; it grows where truth is spoken faithfully and handled justly. Ask the Holy Ghost to cleanse exaggeration, concealment, and harshness from your words. Speak truth in a way that serves restoration rather than self-protection.
