The King Who Comes Lowly
Zechariah 9–11
“Behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass.”
Zechariah 9:9 KJV
TODAY’S DEVOTION
The promised King arrives with justice and salvation, yet He comes lowly. Jesus fulfills this hope without performing the kind of power people expected. His kingdom confronts our attraction to image, force, and self-promotion. To follow this King is to welcome His rule and learn His humility. Strength surrendered to God becomes service rather than domination.
