DAY 3 OF 10 · Peace and anxiety
Peace for Today
Jesus returns the anxious mind from imagined tomorrows to the Father’s care today.
PRIMARY PASSAGE
Matthew 6:25–34
Read this passage slowly in your Bible before continuing. My Daily Altar uses the King James Version for its English Scripture experience.
BIBLICAL CONTEXT
Listen to the passage on its own terms.
Christ points to birds and lilies, not to trivialize human need, but to reveal the Father’s attentive provision. Tomorrow will have real demands, but today is where grace is given.
Reflect
Which part of tomorrow am I trying to solve repeatedly today?
Respond
Set that concern aside until a defined planning time; return to today’s faithful task.
Pray
Father, give me today’s bread and keep tomorrow’s trouble from consuming today’s grace.
