Love Begins With God
We learn love by receiving the love God revealed in Jesus Christ.

1 John 4:7–10

John does not begin with human affection or effort. Love is known because God acted first, sending His Son so sinners could live through Him. Christian love is therefore a response to grace, not a way to earn it.

Where have I been trying to earn what God invites me to receive?

Thank God specifically for the love He demonstrated through Jesus Christ.

God, open my heart to receive Your love with humility and to respond with worship and obedience.
